I thought I read something 1 dose was like 52% percent efficient from symptoms.

That's why you still need to be careful.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Gov. JB Pritzker will announce Thursday that Illinois is expanding vaccine eligibility next month to anyone 16 years of age and older starting on April 12, sources tell ABC7.

We’re in a mad race against the variants now. Brazil is getting hammered as is Europe

Thankfully we have the things we need to stave it off here if we keep up the pace

Variants are the new answer for everything.

When the naughty states have cases, it’s bc they are doing the licentious sins and not observing the purifying commandments of NPIs.

When nice states have cases, it’s not bc of sins but simply bc variants.

This is an important principle of moralizing epidemiology. https://t.co/KR160d7vTV

Got my first Pfizer shot yesterday morning. Arm is a little tender but other than that I feel fine.

My wife and I each got our second Pfizer dose Wednesday afternoon. Overnight Wednesday we both got a terribly sore arm, fever (wife up to 102.3), body aches, and fatigue. I also had stomach pains. My wife maintained a fever all day Thursday while I never had one after waking up Thursday. I was doing better and better all day Thursday and then in the late afternoon I was suddenly very weak. Neither of us have slept much the last two nights but woke up this morning (Friday) feeling really good other than being really tired. It sucked a little bit but I didn't have to miss any work or anything. No biggie.

Probably anecdotal, but my experience with the health care system in India is hilariously better than the USA.

I spent a week in New Delhi and my co-worker got violently ill. A doctor visited him twice (in his hotel room!) and gave him a couple of prescriptions. He then called the next day asking if he was okay - which he was, the medicine did the trick.

Total bill was $38.

Maybe their statistician got confused when they asked whether a lot of people were already getting shot in Chicago.

Doctors say getting COVID-19 poses much bigger risk of blood clots

I think most of us knew this.
