heh yeah. Assholes like that had me all scared about my vasectomy. It was very easy and not painful. No sudden movements or jumping for a few days, but normal, everyday activities were just fine starting the day after.

Crazy how fast the injection rate is growing across the country. Arrowhead will be a site for mass injections next week. Lady at the injection site we went to said they may used Dollar Generals to get into the small rural towns.

Hey did you know that one time a nursing home patient in Sweden died after getting a vaccine? TRUE STORY

Some men are just weak. My friend limped around all week like he had broken a leg.

I lifted a few things and rode in a boat the next day.

Nah, I think it was actually the vasectomy that killed him...

Has to be some advantage to the US paying 10x more for prescription drugs than Canada and Europe.

Most of their problems is because they were too slow and bureaucratic signing initial contracts and so ended up behind other rich countries in line for available vaccines.

For the most part they have used all the vaccines they have gotten their hands on.

And perhaps relying too much on the Astra vaccine instead of hedging their bets more.

Got vaccinated via Pfizer

First vaccination - no effects whatsoever.

Second vaccination was just the other day. No effects at first and then got a sore arm at point of injection beginning later that evening and it lasted for about a day.

No issues at all now. Very glad and thankful to be done and looking forward to things becoming more normal soon....

We paid upfront with a guarantee of so many doses. Other countries did not. those have nothing to do with what you said.

Yep. Team USA did a good job of quickly paying up front to guarantee doses whether they worked or not. The EU didn't want to be on the hook if the vaccines didn't work out and that ended up costing them.

So good job team USA on that front.

Now given that those doses actually had to go into arms to do any good and that was clear six months ahead of time, team USA could have done a better job preparing for that.

But things are ramping up.
