May I ask why you seem to be trying to resist taking more Tylenol?

There is some debate on whether it is good practice to take Tylenol/Ibuprofen for side effects after the vaccine. The thought being that your body is having an immune reaction to the vaccine, so you don't want to hamper that in any way.

Starting to approach that 36 hour mark. I think tomorrow I'll wake up and feel mostly back to normal. Truth be told I probably could have went about my work as usual today, but I'm glad I scheduled it as a day to rest if needed.

Hopefully that's just a mix of the immune response plus a full day of work. I think I'd probably still be pretty fatigued if I had worked all day today.

Gotcha. Somehow I've totally missed this until now.

Johnson & Johnson submitted its one-shot Covid-19 vaccine for FDA authorization, saying it expects to supply 100 million doses to the U.S. in the first half of 2021 https://t.co/Xk23ZEFYcm

I'm no doctor, but ibuprofen/advil are anti-inflammatory and what I've read is along the lines of "with less inflammation, there may also be a lower immune response to the vaccine."

Acetaminophen/Tylenol isn't anti-inflammatory (but can still help with muscle aches and fever and so forth), so it's not going to have that same impact.

Again, not a doctor... but, you might research those separately and see what you find specifically for taking acetaminophen versus an anti-inflammatory.

Yeah take either. The effect isn’t enough to matter in regards to the immune response imo

That data is not very strong at all. You can avoid them to be extra safe, but I am far from convinced.

My grandmother passed out in the waiting room after her first injection. Paramedic said it was their third post injection call of the morning. She spent the next day very tired and couldn't eat anything, but is feeling better today. I highly doubt they'll convince her to go get the 2nd.

I pulled into a town this afternoon and there was a bunch of people waiting in line all the way down the block at a gas station. It was very strange because right across the street the Casey's General store was completely empty. I left town a different direction and the Hy-Vee gas station was rowed up with cars all the way out into the regular Hy-Vee parking lot. Again, very strange because just down the road the other Casey's General store was completely empty.

Apparently, today is the day Casey General stores decided to begin some kind of a mask mandate. The Facebook Karens tell me all three of the locations in town started the "no mask no service" today, so it must be coming from corporate. Today.. not last Christmas.. not last Fall.. not last spring... Today.

I'm not sure if I'm more entertained by the boycott or the better really really late than never mandate.
