That's really the only reason I can think of as to why he wouldn't accept a high draft pick for an aging player.

Didn't most agree that Minkah would likely play the slot position?

I know the coaching staff looks at Fuller as a Nickel, but he was really good on the outside last year.

Just get him off Edelman in the slot.

I actually think Fuller is going to have career a year similar to how he did inside in 2017 for the Redskins.

He’s already off to a good start aside from 2 plays. His PFF grade reflects that.

I think we’ll feel a lot better about that matchup when the time comes.

We'll see how good PP plays without PEDs. Remember, he was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes back in 14. Once he got his diagnosis, I'm sure he got to feeling better BUT probably thought "why not try some PEDs to make sure I keep my energy level stays up" and also realized the positive physical attributes and stamina that he just could not resist until he obviously got busted. Don't get me wrong here, he is a great corner but it will be interesting to see.

Just a thought.
