The other thread is a dumpster fire. I'm sure this will become one as well, but might as well start with a clean slate. I'll at least try to keep the OP updated with any notable news. Feel free to PM me if I miss anything good.
Arrest warrant and potential charges:
Spoiler!
BREAKING: An arrest warrant has been issued for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in connection to his involvement in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 75 in Dallas in late March, sources tell WFAA. https://t.co/XL3F7oCuW1

Collision involving serious bodily injury -- a third-degree felony -- carries a punishment of imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice of not more than 10 years or less than 2 years. Aggravated assault -- a second-degree felony -- is punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
TL;DR, his concern was at a 2, and now it's a 4 (out of 10). Still probably not a huge deal, but there are some concerning possibilities. Overall, though, he thinks it all gets pled down to misdemeanors, he misses a couple of games, and he writes some massive checks to those he injured.

#Chiefs Patrick Mahomes said he's worked with Rashee Rice throughout the offseason and will continue to do so while the legal process plays out for Rice..

There's a better time to beat the fucking tar out of another human? [Reply]

I would buy this more if not for, I don’t know, Jalen Carter?
Dude was doing the same stuff as Rice and the friends he was racing died horridly while he drove away. Still got drafted in the 1st. No suspension. [Reply]

But he didn’t even slip out of the first round. And that wasn’t a “oh no, people could have been much more seriously hurt” situation. It was “oh no, two people burned to death while he sped away.” [Reply]

All that really proves is that NFL owners don't really give a shit because they know fans will just get over it. [Reply]

You know some teams are having internal talks about the possibility of bringing Henry Ruggs in for a look after he gets out of jail. I doubt he'll ever play again in the league, but you know that discussion is being had. [Reply]
