Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.

If they rush him back and it pops out again - you just don't know.

You don't know what you are taking about.
It doesn't "cut off blood to the aorta".
How do you brace a clavicle so it doesn't subluxe? [Reply]

The key will be regaining dynamic stability through rehab. This will be accomplished by putting the joint in compromising positions (pushup, grabbing, contested catching) and seeing how it reacts. Re-dislocation is a real thing, and the medical staff will be sure that the player is ready before reinitiating contact. Exercises to reinforce stability and strength in these positions will be paramount.
This is a good description.
Those ligaments could be loose, making dislocating again a risk, which to me is the likely major determining factor to return. [Reply]
Kudos to the Chiefs' medical staff for getting him to the hospital. Mother**** you J. Ramsey for your big mouth, dirty hit and shove after the play. [Reply]
