Then you have Carlos trying to pick someone off with 2 outs and 2 on when he has absolutely owned the guy at the plate. Like clockwork, after guys are on 2nd and 3rd, he gives up 2 runs on a single. It is unbelievable how many basic things the team does wrong. I pray that ownership sees it, but they are probably too busy seeing dollar signs to care much about the abortion on the field. [Reply]
Kolten Wong has no business on a major league roster. None at all.
Anyone that is still paying attention knows this by now and frankly anyone that paid attention last year knew this before the season started. He should've been traded the instant a team showed a willingness to assume his contract.
He's an idiot who doesn't even know what he does well. He has no concept of what a good ballplayer needs to do to succeed and I've always been convinced that he has an honest to god learning disorder and/or attention deficit disorder. The guy is a nervous terrier that is CONSTANTLY pissing on the rug.
He's right there with Tony Cruz, Ryan Theriot and Tino Martinez as my most all-time hated Cardinals. I truly despise that stupid motherfucker. [Reply]

I have no idea how he still sees the field in front of Garcia. That's probably the most glaring case of managerial apathy you'll ever see in the major leagues. [Reply]

Matt Adams could've at least stung that for a double.
That pitch was almost certainly the worst pitch that anybody has ever made. Seriously, it was a middle/middle slow curve that didn't break at all. You could underhand a ball up there and it would be harder to hit out than that pitch.
Pedro Borbon never threw a pitch that bad. Jonathan Broxton has never thrown a pitch that bad. Guys don't get easier pitches to hit out in HR derby's than Matt Carpenter just got.
And thank God for it because he just stared at 2 pitches right down the shitter that he could've also driven to the OF to get that run in. That dude needs to !@#$ing swing more - not everybody is going to do him the charity of throwing it at his bat. [Reply]
