Nzoner's Game Room>Tyreek Hill injury updates.
Hammock Parties 12:52 PM 09-08-2019
Someone just told me Tyreek Hill could be out 6-8 weeks.

This is the same source that told me he would receive 0 games 20 minutes before the national media broke it.

Take it for what it's worth.

EDIT: IT WAS WORTH NOTHING

Here is an explanation from the #Chiefs on WR Tyreek Hill, who was taken to a local hospital. pic.twitter.com/gxcl2nqFu0

Per source, no surgery for Tyreek Hill but he will miss a couple of weeks.

Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.

I'm sure Reid will dial up some stuff for Hardman as well.

Not too worried about this, and very thankful it isn't worse.

The Chiefs lie about injuries, particularly Andy Reid. Eric Berry was day to day starting in training camp last year.

I just know Ramsey drove him into the ground as hard as he frickin could. Then shoved him after he got up. There were about 400 times those turds shouldve gotten flagged for taunting at least. We really own that team. And they really cant deal with it.

No argument there.

I hate that Tyreek is out, but I'm comforted by knowing that the Chiefs were at least planning on operating without him this offseason.

I just hope Mecole Hardman is up to the challenge.

Glass half full... :-)
One of those dink-and-dunk drives was awesome, ran about 6 minutes off the clock. That could be pretty helpful to the defense if they can start dialing up more drives like that one.

I'm calling the same shit I did after it happened, he misses next week, thats it.

Keep in mind guys dude can go run run routes and effect the defense without catching many passes for a few weeks.

Um, not sure I want any defenders chucking him in the chest.

That wasn't a lie. That was a pain management injury that was hard to put a time table on. Just like this is hard to put a time table on.

Unsurprisingly you are over overly dramatic about this. Its not as serious as you think it is. The hospital deal was precautionary.

He could have died.

If his chest is not 100%, any force on it could pop that mother right back out.

It doesn't work that way, he only dies from a severe dislocation cutting off blood to the aorta. It wasn't remotely close to that. I don't think it takes long to recover and I bet they can brace it where the risk is almost non existent.
