We knew that the 2019-20 season was going to be a special year, but we never expected it to be this memorable. From Phil Kessel playing his 1,000th career NHL game to acquiring Taylor Hall, and then competing in our first playoff series in eight years, we're grateful to have had you along for the ride this season whether you were cheering at Gila River Arena or Howling From Home.
While the season was shorter than we hoped, it only makes us hungrier for next year. We can't wait to get back on the ice and take the next step. Until then, please stay healthy and safe because we'll be back before you know it.
Oh well. First year in 47 I'm not disappointed. They were arguably the best team in hockey all year, then COVID hits and they never found their groove again.
