FWIW Bills fans: I spoke to someone who was on the Texans coaching staff with Watt and the review wasn't glowing. "He's selfish, only cared about his stats", "he does a lot of things that hurts the defense", "he hurt us more than he helped us", and finally "I wouldn't want him"

I don't know of one person who is truly upset or even mildly irritated that Watt went to Arizona. The Bills can't afford that kind of price tag... I think the media guys are trying to make yet another story to get clicks because Arizona wasn't even on their radar. [Reply]
The deal JJ Watt signed with the Cardinals was NOT the most he was offered. The Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts each offered more money. Tennessee's offer was very similar.

For every one of you there are 99 people that think players should play for the love of the game and take discounts for the privilege of playing (and the discount should be for their favorite team specifically). [Reply]

That may be true to some extent, but your numbers are clearly inflated
Most people get that its a business, that many different factors play into where a player wants to go, and that its well within their rights to play it that way
But don't talk about chasing a championship, then sign with Arizona, a team with some potential, but almost certainly not quite ready for a primetime takeover of the NFCW
I could be wrong here, maybe they break out and dominate... but I doubt it [Reply]
