The first games of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) are this weekend. I haven't followed it and at this point I'm not that interested. However, a friend called me all excited. He said CBS will be carrying all the games... that seems interesting. I seen an NFL Network logo on the AAF website... that seems interesting.
What's your take? Is your DVR set? Why should I care?

The xfl will be a enormous bust. I can't understand what these guys are doing. The AAF tried too hard to make this minor league football. Who knows what the hell the xfl thinks they're doing by thinking they can go after major metros.
The football league should acknowledge what it is. A terrific place for a hot college market undeserved by the NFL loaded with popular players from their Alma matter. The AAF was pulling 20k or so which is as good as many teams in the MLS. That's just year 1 with below average marketing. [Reply]
