Maybe this isn't the right thread, so I apologize in advance.. but anyone got any idea why tf I haven't gotten my federal tax return yet? It's like $400, so not make or break, but it's almost the exact amount I owed the state of KS (who already collected) and I'd like to put that $ back in my account.
This is getting ridiculous. We just filled straight forward on turbotax, married, no deductions or itemized crap. This is stupid. [Reply]

From that link. I'd call their ass, but just a heads up, hide anything you could hang yourself or cut your wrists with.

I have a friend that works for a tax service that said it might just be "slow" cuz of coronavirus bs. I had the same thing happen to me with a state return once. Said processing for months, then I finally found a # to call. All they said was basically oops lol and I had the $125 the next day. [Reply]

Mine only took about two weeks, but I filed back in mid-February. I'd guess that a phone call will get it moving again, but man...that sounds like a miserable experience to say the least. I can't imagine how long the wait times are right now. [Reply]

That's why I haven't called. Was kinda hoping it would eventually just show up. [Reply]
Off the subject, but I didn't get my "Economic Impact Payments" or whatever else they're calling them. I had to go to the below website and verify some shit. I think it was AGI and taxable and then if I owed.
