The media praised them beyond praise and deemed them unbeatable, the fans expected another 62 point high flying offensive performance replicating their week prior divisional game. Their opponent they were hosting shouldn’t even have been there. They needed a miracle to make it out of the wild card round, needed a dominant defensive performance to make it out of the divisional, and didn’t stand a snow balls chance in hell beating the jaguars in the afc championship game despite beating them already that year. Their opponent, the Tennessee Titans!
Except the Jags were 14-2 and you guys were 13-3 (4 seed) and already beat them twice, the second time 41-14 just a month earlier.

Your posts earlier were appreciated and level-headed, but this was stupid. [Reply]

Like I said in my original post, both of these teams deserve to be where they are. Moral of the story tho is stay humble. Any fan from either team thinking one team or the other is just going to dominate and blow away the other is ignorant. If this game goes finesse style the chiefs will win but the titans will try to battle it out by grinding. If this game gets physical the titans will win and the chiefs will be trying to air it out to soften the game. [Reply]

We are on a 7 game win streak- and if you think we have won by finesse, you haven't been watching. This Chiefs team is not soft. We had one of the hardest schedules in the NFL. We will be hitting your QB hard and often. [Reply]

I read every last word of that post. The simple truth is if you are going to keep Kelce from running free you are going to have to dedicate extra man power to him. Some one else is able to get free or find a nice hole in a zone. Pick your poison. [Reply]

Let’s be real, you ended your season playing the chargers twice(21st), Raiders(24th), Broncos(28th), bears(29th), and the “not very good” patriots. That’s a real hard stretch to battle test your team leading into the playoffs. [Reply]

Basically gave up 17 yesterday to the Texans without Jones (and Thornhill for that matter)...
I don’t think anyone is going to call this defense an elite unit, but you’re fooling yourself if you think they aren’t good. They dominated those teams that you listed.

Brags about beating the Patriots then tells Chiefs fans our win against them wasn’t impressive because they aren’t very good. Mmkay. [Reply]

100% truth and agree! Jackson with Hill(speed with speed)with Vaccaro over the top help, Brock man up with Watkins, Ryan/Byard with Kelce. Force them to throw to Robinson(who dropped a significant amount of passes) or Hardman. No matter what happens it’s going to be a fun game to watch and the winner will he who I’m rooting for in Miami. [Reply]
