Rams CB Aqib Talib, on NFL Network just now: "I had a great visit with the doctor today. It looks like the week after Thanksgiving, I'll be full speed, ready to go." Rams have a bye in Week 12, then play the Lions Dec. 2, three games from now. They sure could use him.

Could be. There's a lot of tickets available on stubhub, but that doesn't mean anything. 5:30 is a bad kickoff time for them.
But this is just another sign that they're scared. First they moved their practice to Colorado Springs, and now this.
They got man handled by father time and really aren't beating teams that ain't shit with ease. After us, only the bears are their toughest opponents FFS.
They know if they play the saints again in the playoffs it's over. Hell, after Darnold gets suspended after whatever bone head shit he's going to pull Monday, it might be over anyway. They are the benefit of a shit schedule and they know it. [Reply]

Crunched some stats from our past 6 games in which Chiefs' defense is:
3RD in yards allowed (280.83 per game)
3RD in completion percentage allowed (60.83%)
1ST in opponent passer rating allowed (79.82)
1ST in sacks recorded (21)
3RD in tackles for loss recorded (30)
1ST in QB hits (42)
5TH in scoring allowed (20.33 ppg)
Also during this time, the Chiefs have surrendered only 8 passing TDs and have snagged 9 INTs.
Sure there were a few suspect offenses in the last six but even teams like the Jaguars and Broncos were coming off impressive performances before we buzzsaw'd them. They still give up too many yards on the ground but it is a marked improvement from the beginning of the year when we all thought an average defense would carry the day. In a lot of important categories (sacks/PPG) they are now near or at the top of the league. One stat where they've really regressed in the last six weeks was in 3rd down conversions which was 43.04% -- good for only 25th in the league. [Reply]
It's an interesting comparison. We're generally better at the offensive skill positions, though not by much.
Their offensive line is rated much higher, though it makes me suspect that there's a Gurley effect in play. (Either that or Gurley's not so good and these guys lift him.)
They're a bit better at safety, though we're better at corner through the nickel position (thanks to Marcus Peters).
Our outside pass rush is way better.
Their ILBs are a bit better.
Their DL is way better, though the difference is pretty much just Donald. However, Donald is significant.
Rams offensive line is more important to gurley than the other way around IMO. Their line is filthy, arguably have two top-5 guys on it. Whitworth in particular is just a moving brick wall.
If we had their line, it’d be over. We would score on literally every drive. [Reply]

Talking about what team they give the edge to at different positions—get this. They both gave the Rams the edge at linebacker, and they even said they were including Ford/Houston in that.. :-) They also gave them the edge at special teams coaching.
They picked the Rams at almost every single spot.
Colin Cowherd pocked is to upset the Rams. I’m shocked he picked against anything LA. [Reply]

Here is Mitch Morse landing on his head, leading to a trip to concussion protocol. He took a hit from Donta Hightower (who earlier picked off Mahomes): pic.twitter.com/IDupLkL4xV
