How can that be true? After 6 years of service, sure but what he was asking was welll worth 6 years of service.

I've discussed this with DJ before (and we disagreed), but Mo's Carl Peterson post-Marty currently in which ownership wants to be just good enough without having to rebuild.
I think most that post here agree that Dewitt's plan is to develop talent and sneak into the playoffs and hope the team gets hot in the playoffs like 2011.
Yet, that flaw is in the why Roberts and Tatis arn't on this team. Sure they worked out and there are probably 20 others that got that same money and didn't work out for the teams. Its a gamble. Dewitt wont put the big money in on the potential star baseball player. Just the ones who's ceiling is an average MLB player. [Reply]

Not a chance in hell of the Dewitts selling the team. They are the baseball owner royalty. The only chance we have is to change their behavior. And the only way that happens is to get so bad with the fans, that they stay home and effect his bottom line. Soooo thats really a distraction. Fans arn't going to abandon this team in the stands in large numbers.
Mo can be fired for cause, His trades are for shit, His FA signings are for shit. [Reply]
