When Carpenter went down early in the year he stepped up his pitching to ace level. That curveball to Beltran, he was on the mound when l and my son got to see our team win a World Championship in person. Salu.
Flaherty has nothing left to prove throwing/wasting innings in Memphis. He’s at least our #3 starter right now. Y keeping him in Memphis, they are saying we care more about Waino than the team winning.
Waino needs to go into the pen. Aging stops for no one He can probably reach 92-93 with one inning of work. Put that with his still good curveball, he can help us in the pen in his final year.
Next year Waino can put on the well deserved red jacket. [Reply]

Statistically he's been a below average hitter 2 out of the last 3 seasons and his defense has been declining for a while and his 3 year $60M extension just now kicked in when one of the best Cardinals prospects is a catcher. [Reply]

dealing with team legends ain’t easy. Wait till Bryant etc reach FA, let’s see how well your team handles the situation. [Reply]

I fully expect to see Bryant wearing different colors after hes eligible to be a FA unless he fires his agent. The Cubs have plenty of years to find a replacement. [Reply]

Luckily Molina still produces and has easily been with keeping around. Not sure what stat our resident Cubs fan is using to say he has been a below average hitter. [Reply]
