My dad was giving me advice on relationships a few weeks ago. He was telling me that two years into his relationship with my mother, she started exhibiting resentment toward him that only festered and got worse.
After 19 years of marriage, they divorced. He told me that he regretted the last 15 years of it.

I thought it was pretty profound.
Then I realized my parents had me in year 10.
Actually, if by that point they were hating each other for 8 years, technically you might want to change that sentence to "she had me in year 10". "Dad" might be the pizza delivery guy. :-)

Then I realized my parents had me in year 10.
My parents started showing signs of having problems early in their marriage. They thought having another child might help, thus I came along. They separated 11 years later, but then my brother started getting into trouble, so they thought they needed to try for our benefit. They divorced three years after that.

Some guy I interact with on twitter is blind. He was born with no eyes, he says. I guess it's unusual; most blind people have eyes, they just can't see. But he just never had any eyes.
