It's not ball velocity, chode. It's ball velocity PLUS ball accuracy.
Watson can improve both, but that's a steep ass hill to climb.
Still, if he gets healthy enough next year, he might be good enough to ride that defense to a deep playoff run. But once Watt finally breaks down for good, don't be surprised if he's no more effective a QB than Alex Smith at winning big games.
The Chiefs still DEFINITELY got the better player, and I don't know how anyone could even argue against it after Watson had a knee explode on him. [Reply]
