2017 five-star has tweeted that he will be committing soon, and the Kansas Jayhawks are surging in his Crystal Ball.

The Jayhawks are at 53 percent ahead of USC. Indiana and Syracuse are also under consideration.

A dynamic talent at 6-10, Preston has drawn comparisons to Chris Webber. Preston, who attends Oak Hill Academy but is originally from Los Angeles, California, is ranked No. 5 in the Top247 and No. 12 in the 247Sports Composite.

It has been a quiet early signing period for Kansas with four-star Marcus Garrett as the only 2017 recruit.

That's great, but we really need a PG. We are going to be absolutely screwed next year if Graham goes pro. And even then, we have no back up PG. As it is, I guess Tyler Self is our 3rd string PG lol.

They do fine. Not many teams are going to hit 15 three's against us this year. It's just early and teams now are not what they'll end up being.
