Chris and Rich are in Nashville assembling a new lineup of TBC for a tour next year.
No Steve (obviously, if you read his book), no Marc, no Sven...
Sounds like CR, RR, Adam, and Tony Leone on drums. I'd wager a bet Andy Hess will play bass since Sven wasn't invited...but who will play lead guitar? Audley? Benji Shanks?

Still like them a lot though.
Well, they've definitely got a Faces/Stones thing, which became less pronounced after the first album, but there's also a definite (and obvious) Zeppelin thing going on, especially from 92-01, but there are also subtle blues, R&B, country, and jam band influences that they wrapped up into one big awesome Black Crowe Burrito.
They definitely became their own thing, they assimilated their influences and transcended them by their second album.
But not only did they sound really awesome, the thing that separate them from a lot of bands that have a great sound are the songs, their songwriting is just PHENOMENONAL. [Reply]

You're not very good at "a few favorites for getting started". I know it's hard when you're a big fan. :-)
