cmh6476 08:31 AM 12-09-2021
He just posted on Facebook, thought it deserved its own thread

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kathy’s name to the Arthritis Community Center, 802 N. Riverside Rd, Suite 140, St. Joseph, MO 64507.

This is so hard to read. Kathy welcomed so many of us to her home with generosity and kindness. I’ll never forget all the bashes, my first trip to KC. Huge spread of food and nothing asked in return except a collection jar for a charity Kathy worked with. Praying for your strength and peace Joe.

Joe, there are words strong enough to convey how badly I feel for you. Y'all had that special bond. Prayers of healing sent to you, old friend. You are loved by many.

Damn, never met her but from what i've read she was outstanding and well loved. Like a mother to Chiefsplanet. R.I.P.

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss, Joe. I obviously didn't know her as well as others, but she was sure a nice lady in our limited interactions.

I was with Joe when she passed on. It was the hardest decision he ever had to make to remove her from life support but she was suffering and is now at peace. His comfort comes from knowing she is in a far better place. No more pain and discomfort. She is dancing with the angels now.
