So a lot of folks looking at OT in round two but what about a replacement for Willie Gay? Looks like there's a couple of good LBs still available. Some guys who can play sideline to sideline, cover and rush the passer. [Reply]

Yeah but we still have a spot though for another LB on the roster who can do it all. Just food for thought. Could also be a hedge incase Bolton wants to big of a contract. [Reply]

I think we are ok. Willie wasn’t an all star that needs to be replaced [Reply]

That’s a guy you can get in the 5th or 6 th round [Reply]

Trading up for a non-T would be pretty epicly stupid.
I mean anyone who thought chiefs were taking T in 1st and were likely trading up for one. That was never, ever, happening. Chiefs wanted Worthy badly, but if they couldn’t get him they were still taking Mitchell at 32.
They could absolutely trade up for a non-T. How many times does it have to be said. Why on earth would they put a rookie project on Patrick’s blindside in a 3peat year? Can you explain how that makes sense to you or anyone else who was frothing at the mouth to take any of the tackles who PLAYED RIGHT TACKLE IN COLLEGE?
Trust me when I say this, if the Chiefs trade up in the 2nd they are probably taking another offensive piece. Maybe AD Mitchell. I said right after combine day they need to trade up for Worthy or Mitchell on draft night and try to get the other in the second if it’s possible. It’s definitely possible if Pats go the other way.
You guys simply don’t have a pulse on where Mahomes is in terms of frustration from last year. If you thought for one second they weren’t completely revamping the WR room…sorry, simple minded.
And no revamping doesn’t mean signing Hollywood to a 1yr deal. Getting skill players for cheap is the only way to play Mahomes prime in a strategically correct manner. Hollywood was 3peat insurance only. They need their ball-catchers of the future and they need them for cheap, ie draft. It’s just simple minded thought to say OMGOMG CHIEFS NEED LT OMG. No…just no. [Reply]
I don't think some people understand that Kingsley could slide pretty far, he is incredibly raw, some teams don't want to wait forever on a guy or don't think they can develop someone like that. [Reply]

I would gladly take him at 64.
Patrick Paul too.
With Kingsley, I'd prefer to sign Smith or somebody too. Paul and Morris can probably compete. [Reply]

We already have that guy on the roster. Cam Jones. [Reply]
I think we need to take a OT. we should probably trade up. Hopefully there will be a WR run and that will help. Also, the fact so many offensive lineman were taken in round one could help.
We would have to be really lucky to get someone who could start for us at LT, but we generally been a pretty lucky team. So we also have to re-sign Smith and maybe look at whoever else might be available. I keep trying to remember the name of the guy who was with Green Bay and was great but injured in the last several years and I think is still available. [Reply]
