Unsure.

Kind of surprising to hear the doc say that when I know there's multiple outbreaks amongst nursing homes all over town.

Yeah, I'm skeptical that it isn't nursing homes.

If it got out that it was mainly nursing home residents it would just fuel the backlash to the mask mandate more.

I think here at work we are up to around 40 positive employees total since March, there have been 2 short term hospitalizations, one with multiple underlying conditions who took the longest to recover and the other developed a decent case of pneumonia. Both fairly overweight.

So New York has cases down to basically less than 1% percent positive, and they completely botched opening up schools.

Is there any way for them to get out of lockdown?

So a question.

How long after you have contact with a covid positive patient do you become contagious yourself? (Assuming you are infected by the contact you had)

I think the average is 5 days to symptoms, so I'd guess about 3 days on average?

I almost posted that yesterday but thought it might be too political. Regardless you can obviously see there is some severe BS going on there.

Wife’s test came back negative

Her great aunt is really sick and tested positive. They had a family dinner Sunday and now my wife’s grandmother can’t smell. No other symptoms just no smell or taste

Her aunt is doing better today so hopefully she’s on the back side of it
