Well let's not forget the politics in all of this. IMHO Reid like Elway wants total control so Reid may be having a hard time finding a DC that is a "yes man" and why the delay in letting Sutton go.:-) [Reply]

- Proven DCs are unavailable
- Finding a compatible DC persona wise is taking longer
- Deliberation about promoting from within [Reply]

The Chiefs have the opportunity to make billions with Mahomes. They will make a change and make progress. Soon Mahomes' contract will be up and the scheme will have to be second to none. They won't be able to afford the best roster. The D coordinator will have to be nails. They all know this. [Reply]

DJ said on the Coward show that Schemes don't matter, it's all about players executing. I'm sorry but this is definitely not a direction we should go, I love DJ and all but just no on that one. [Reply]

Why are people quick to dismiss such obvious things? There are people on this board that have rational minds and when presented with enough evidence, circumstantial or not, can generally make the connections quickly and come to the right answer.
But not with the Chiefs, and not with the NFL. It's ridiculous. [Reply]

I dunno. I think Reid would like a guy who'd give him a good D, and let Reid spend all of his time on offense. [Reply]

Exactly.
It's either one or the other meaning AR is just to nice a guy and let's BS do whatever and finally when it was really bad why AR finally had to step in and give our rookie DBs a shot or AR wants the defense his way no questions asked and he has his yes man in Bob. [Reply]
