Manning was never touched. They showed another angle a couple times during the game and he wasn't touched.

This isn't the angle I was talking about, but here is another one...

According to the post game PC, he told Sanders ahead of time to be prepared for him to go down, but continue to get open.

He took advantage of the rules protecting the QB to appear to be down by contact or sliding to lull the defense.

He deserves to be full Geathered for that shit.

First off, he said he told Sanders that. Secondly, he was joking. He also said he planned to sneak into the building early in the morning to erase that play from the film.

Found the angle. Go to about 40 seconds in the video and it shows he wasn't touched.

Really, we're debating that play? I think I've seen him slide like that 12 times a season ... most times, he's touched. There was no touch, no whistle, so he jumped up and threw it. #getoverit

If he dives to give himself up, he should be ruled down.

Next time a defender has a beat on him and he gives himself up, blast him

I'm not saying they should have had to forfeit, or had a penalty or anything.

Just put it in your pocket and pull it out again when big meanie defensemen pick on poor fragile old men chucking the ball.

Maybe someone can petition for a rule change if it weighs on you that greatly.

It's using the qb protection rules as a crutch. It's fine, but don't get pissed when he gets hit giving himself up.

Like I said, I've seen him do that a lot ... never had an issue with it, all the defender has to do is touch him. No touch, well guess it's legal to get up and do something.

Where's ol' Burfict (or Amedola, for that matter) when you need him?
