The original Bushwood thread is overflowing like Craig Stadler's FUPA.
Use this thread to discuss tournaments, swing thoughts, equipment, and golf deals.
I thought we could also use the OP to create a WITB for ChiefsPlanet members. I'll list a poster's name and put their sticks in a spoiler tag, so you can see what everyone is carrying. [Reply]
CBS' coverage this weekend was pitiful. It's abject ignorance to compare this performance to Tiger's in '97. This course was toothless in comparison. There's a big difference between finishing at -18 when two are at -14 behind you and finishing at -18 when the next closest competitor is -6.
To get close to Tiger's performance, Spieth would have needed to shoot around 265. [Reply]

Dude's going to be stone bald in three years. That's well beyond his coverage in normal life. The PGA Tour is filled with guys who married gold-diggers. I'm sure he'll run into one, too; don't worry. [Reply]

I think you are probably right....still don't know why they didn't dry out the course and make the greens harder and faster.... [Reply]

Tom Watson actually finished 4th too. That was his last top 5 finish in a major until he almost won the British in 09.
Didn't they lengthen the course after that Tournament to "Tiger Proof" it? [Reply]

Can't really blame them too much. CBS has to build up Spieth any way they can, need that American star as Tiger/Phil decline. [Reply]
