We appreciate when folks respectfully come to our board and offer a first hand view about the new player and what went right and what went wrong. I tought id take a few min and do the same. Considering you have 25 discussion pages dedicated to it, it seems there is quite a bit of thought being given to your '6th wr'.
Thanks for affirming it was time well spent...
We show love in our own way. As mentioned the board takes getting used to. Don't take anyone or yourself too seriously and the board has a lot to offer. [Reply]

You guys seem to know whats up, and its not like you expect him to come and save a season that doesnt need saving.
But thats the dangerous part IMO. Ya got a good thing going. Things seem to be headed up in Buffalo finally - but roles are ripe for the taking. Who wouldnt want to start working for a new company and be viewed as the man who can help and be the guy. He had that, all he had to do was take it. He seemed preoccupied with throwing salt at his old team but didnt back up the talk.
As you said, if he doesnt fall in Andy will cut him.
Dudes get cut from KC and its ok bc KC is 'it' at the moment.
Getting cut from Buff however bc theyd rather roll w Zay Jones, Thompson, Foster, McCloud, and McKenzie however....
If that's not a wake the F up moment - i dunno what is
For our GM here, in his short time at the helm, this is par for the course.
Many of his moves includes a supposedly lost or washed up high round draft picks/name signed to an upside contract.
Cam Irving
Reggie Ragland
Sammy Watkins
Kelvin Benjamin
It will all work out, if it doesnt, oh well, next. [Reply]
Being honest about this, because he can be versatile where he can lineup this may simply be nothing more than a red zone target to offset not having Kareem Hunt. [Reply]

Would be nice if Andy & co could turn Benjamin into a reliable possession receiver and red zone weapon before the playoffs start.
Honestly, a role (roll lol) might be what he needs. I dogged his ability to get up and make a contested catch, but thats gotta be his game. He seems like hed be insulted by having a bit role, but if he can be engaged as a situational guy (thats the trick) then maybe he can get up for it and be the guy for that role. An easy joke would be that you need to posses the ball to be a posession WR - but BUF wanted him to be a #1 and do it all. As a result, he wasnt anything. Last yr he had flashes of a red zone guy. Id say having him on the outside for jump balls was oddly a bit of a miscast bc an inside TE type role could work well - but he needs to be able to come to terms w getting hit. If that happens, it could be a great signing [Reply]

If PMII can throw it hard enough to sitck it in his facemask hes golden. Anything else assumes he catches it
Sorry, weve been making jokes like this for months so theres a ton of material. That one was easy bc its one of the few times you can just replace mahomes with Allen and it still works:-) [Reply]

Nah man this is a fat, even more washed, version of Boogie Cousins to the Warriors.
Coming here he knows that our shit is on fire and hes gonna only get a chance to fit in where he fits in. [Reply]

Actually, Patrick Mahomes II can throw it hard enough to stick it in his face mask. [Reply]
