You'll eventually have to play a good team anyway. It doesn't matte.r Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]

True but it was more of a when do u play the good team. Colombia and japan are both “good” teams, and South Korea just beat Germany 2-0. Every team is playing well.
I think it was a much better choice to lose and face Colombia, because sure its a harder matchup, but the following matchup is no where near the level that Brazil is at.
Japan free win, Brazil very tough.
Colombia/ next game both likely wins for either Belgium/England [Reply]

The side England is on could, relatively, be an easy draw to the final if Spain gets upset. Hell, even with as bad as the U.S. has been at times, I wouldn't even put it outside of their capability of getting to the final on this side if they managed to beat Columbia and somebody else knocked out Spain.
Just goes to show how important just getting in is. If the U.S. had done their job and gotten the Panama slot, they could have found themselves in a very interesting spot if they were the runner-up in this group. I know that's a bunch of hypotheticals, but this really is such an open tournament right now on that side. [Reply]
