Paying guys is tough, but giving up an extreme amount of picks and paying them?
Case and point: Frank Clark apparently sucks here. There’s a thread on it. Okay well who is performing? Tanoh Kpassagnon (1 sack-almost 2 in Oakland-a would be pick) and Ogbah (1 sack). Even though we paid a fuck load for Frank, cheap labor is helping mitigate that “so called” error.
Sammy should be gone after this season. No problem. Hardman is here for 3 more years cheap.
Honey Badger is a huge price tag. That’s fine when you have Thornhill here for cheap throughout Honey Badgers contract.
If you want to do this deal and give up picks, fine. BUT do not bitch when we are not making moves like this in 2020 and beyond. I don’t care if the cap is going up. $40 million AAV QB with a lot of other expenditures like Clark, Hitchens, Schwartz, Fisher, Kelce etc.
Cap going up drastically just means player salaries will go up significantly as well. And yes Mahomes new contract will be tough even with the cap going up.
Yeah KPass....who took 2 years to even get decent.....which caused us to draft Speaks. [Reply]

Is that the trajectory we are working for?
Late first round, solid cornerback is what we're talking about here. Byron Jones fits that description. You said all the solid cornerbacks come at the top of the 1st, which is obviously ridiculous. [Reply]

So basically as a win now team our best hope is a guy that will take 3 years to be worth a shit. [Reply]
For what it's worth Jalen did change his profile picture this morning to a picture of his chain. That was the last thing on any of his social media showing him in a Jags uniform. [Reply]
Look I think we’re a contender every year under Mahomes and Andy but I don’t think many of you realize. We won’t have a team this stacked maybe ever again in his career. We CANNOT waste this chance.
NE countered us with AB. We aren’t favorites right now. [Reply]

Blame Sutton for thinking KPass could be the first 6'-7", 290 lb. outside linebacker. For fuck's sake, why not make him a free safety, Grandpa? [Reply]

Actually you are literally cherry picking 1 guy, it would be like if someone told me hey "hey Chris Harris" when that would be like saying my secret to being rich is I tripped into a bucket and found a suitcase of money. [Reply]

This has actually been a nice test of the new setup. 750+ active users pretty regularly (1000+ right now) is pretty significant. In short, I think it's good to go for a while. [Reply]
