Nzoner's Game Room>Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2
HonestChieffan 11:58 AM 01-23-2011
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Yeah, it's gotta be. Probably Kalifornia and New York compliant as well, since it doesn't have a pistol grip.

I must admit, that's a thing of beauty. Of course, it's obviously heavy as hell and I don't even want to think about how much it would cost.

Someone spent a lot of time making a pattern to cast that lower in cast iron. That type of old blueing dnt work on aluminum.
Beautiful looking one off.. If you like charging your rifle every shot.

Yeah, there's no way it's got a buffer tube.

Very pretty, but also a hard pass.

If that pic has a article written about the build.
Yours truly would like to read it.

You ever seen that wrist watch size AR15 on Facebook that some jewler built.
Its pretty cool. The hours that went into it had to be around a 1000

Its 1/64th scale IIRC

There are ways around needing a buffer tube. I'll see if I can track down the article. I was highly distracted by the pictures so I didn't retain any of the info.:-)

Looks like a .308 / 7.62 judging by the size of the magwell and muzzle brake. I may very well be wrong, though.

So far I have failed at finding the build article, but prepare your palms for fapping to more of the man's creations...

I can't get the video to embed, but this appears to be the same gun being tore down and explained. He never actually says what that lower is or if it is a modified version of a custom lower though.

The facebook cock gobblers are requiring you to log in.
