Not sure what to think
I consider it something between anecdotal evidence and a real study. At the very least it's strong impetus to do more and larger studies.

It's not however representative of the infected pool at large. So the problem is most people just hear "78 out of 100". Thinking about how that pool of 100 was selected is not in the average person's understanding.

Also there are questions about what elevated troponin actually means - which is probably what the cardiologists took issue with.

I will say, here at our kids school, they've done a really good job with communication and the things theyr'e doing.

Whether it works or not, who knows.

If the goal is zero infections, well, I have a pretty good idea how that will play out.

I don't give a fuck. Just because they are doing it doesn't mean they should or it is a good idea. Why don't you man the fuck up and look outside your fear bubble for a few and see the ancillary and according to the CDC worse damage you are doing to these kids by keeping them out of school??

We do read together a lot and complete math work books and flash cards but I strongly believe the majority of his academic gains the last 5 months from the online Sylvan courses, granted they are in smaller groups than he’d receive from remote elementary. My point is you CAN teach a 7 year old over a computer, but it takes intentional focus from schools and parents working in unison to pull off.
Exactly...highly impractical.....for every 1 child that does well with it how many don't?

And you don't know what he isn't learning by not being around children his age as well. But I get what you are saying.

Never in the history of pete has telling pete to chill actually caused pete to chill.

It's like telling an angry woman to calm down.

In fairness to Pete the consequences we have been going through from this stupid virus has put many, if not all, a bit on edge.

It actually appears that Missouri's 7 day % positive average is slowly dropping.

11.1% today. Not good - but at least it's not increasing.
