Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]
Petty good selection of ammo compared to other online sites. I bought 3 boxes of 17hmr last Wednesday for $64.00 shipped to my door. Showed up this afternoon.
It really was a good article but feel like he wants those folks who don't custom load to fuck off to higher demand popular run-of-the-mill loads. He needs to ease up on the 257 Roberts 250 and 300 Savage. The 8 mm Rem mag is one I regret I didn't buy when Remington 700 Classic when it was offered in a limited release. It's just too good a round to drop and outclasses Win 7 mm mag in every way shape and form. [Reply]
Im a big fan of the 25s.
Just recently got to the point where I can now go play with the 300 Savage. Finding everything to reload the 300 Sav took several months.. I did get to run the gun the other day while out scouting for snow geese. Ran it at a pop bottle in a ditch. Just to muddy to do much else.
I dont think your gonna see manufacturers make runs of these obsolete cartridges much anymore. They can't keep up now. [Reply]
Optic planet has .224
40 grain V-max. Available for your reloading pleasures.
I bought 200.
Still cant find 7-1/2 small rifle primers. Primer and powder shortage is really starting to piss me off.
Edit/// Never mind. That didnt end well.
They took the money out of my bank. Then put it back in, within the hour and sent me an Email.
Your order will be filled in 2 to 4 months and we won't charge your bank account until the order has been processed.

I'm surprised they didn't have a limit on the 9mm and 5.56. [Reply]

I just did that myself a few weeks ago. Can get 5 boxes, ended up buying the last 3 boxes of 5.56 with 150 round each. [Reply]
Starting a Major project today. I've got a big old box of once fired surplus 5.56 brass.
Going to decap it swage the pockets clean and reload as much as I can. Maybe end up with 1k rounds. Primers no problem but powder and bullets are hard to come by. [Reply]

Ive had my best luck finding powders on Facebook and either horse trading 22lr for it or paying around 30 bucks a pound. So far Ive scored.
IMR 3031

Traded out 400 small rifle primers for 400 large primers.
Making a move today on some Hornady 308 brass that Ill turn into 300 Savage brass.
Bullets ive been able to find here and there at the big box stores.
Good luck. If I can help you find anything let me know. [Reply]
