The first games of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) are this weekend. I haven't followed it and at this point I'm not that interested. However, a friend called me all excited. He said CBS will be carrying all the games... that seems interesting. I seen an NFL Network logo on the AAF website... that seems interesting.

What's your take? Is your DVR set? Why should I care?

I've concluded that the AAF is extremely awesome.

I like the idea that there's no league parity, no kickoff, and half the guys have no clue what they're doing on the field.

It's exciting football.

Wow, Kameron Kelly on San Diego has 3 ints so far tonight including a pick 6, he's definitely earned another shot at the NFL

Salt Lake and San Diego has been a fun 4th quarter.
That's all I've watched, so I can't speak for the entire game.

you know, there's needed to be a league that sits between the NCAA and NFL for developing talent. At times we've had it; and that's how you get a Kurt Warner story.

Sometimes guys need to just play; to learn and develop and they don't get that chance in the NFL.

I bet a lot of these guys end up playing on Sundays. They just needed some more seasoning.
