Charlie trying to tell his date from Match.com at the fancy restaurant that he is a PHILANTHROPIST and instead he tells her he is a FULLONRAPIST along with the people he "helps"!
I just laughed out loud for 5 minutes! Holy shit that maybe the best thing so far along with Charlie and Dennis passed out in the back of the UHaul from toxic smoke after trying to cook hotdogs while burning wicker chairs.

This show is just too funny.....
It really is, I feel stupid for being so late to the party [Reply]

I saw that one early on. It wasn’t until much later after learning Charlie has serious illiteracy problems, that made that bit even better. [Reply]
I'm exhausted and spent after watching every episode of all 12 seasons. I haven't laughed out loud like this in years.
Where to begin.....
Rickety Cricket? Jesus Christ what a funny ass character. The progression of his demise after each encounter with the group is fantastic.
Maureen Ponderosa turning into a cat......
McPoyle and his cartoon like eye on his eye patch. Jimmi Simpson plays that character to perfection! The milk angle is hysterical
The Unibrow and lip licking of Margaret McPoyle of her mustache
Dennis Reynolds becomes so unlikable by the end it's not funny-his attempts to try and act all high brow and sophisticated that always falls flat.
The amount of silly shit Danny DeVito does either on drugs or for drugs, especially with Artemis
The amount of off-color and completely politically incorrect humour
Charlie's inability to read or write, his infatuation with cheese, the waitress and rats/spiders/crows.
Mac's Asspounder 4000
His Prison Dad's always angry scary demeanor and his scary Mom with her cigarettes
Charlie's whore Mom who acts all saintly
Dee always being the target and saying Son of a Bitch constantly plus her becoming more and more desperate at NOT being a whore who sleeps with everyone.
The only downside I see is anytime they tried to mimic another show or premise, I found those the least funniest of all.
I've never seen a show to compare to this........just incredible. :-):-)
I find the meta level humor on this show really good.
The Gang Misses the Boat and the one where they try to get Paddy's a major award; I loved the bar they go to that has won all the past awards to see what makes that bar so great. The joke being that 'bars' like that, are like the show Friends and the canned type of 'bars' seem to win everything .
The bell at that bar that tells everyone it's time to drink equating to a laugh track was great. The 'friendly banter' of the bartenders. The mention of not having 'too many' black patrons at the bar because those types of bars never win any awards. :-).
Bravo for watching them all.
the great thing about this show is, even if you've seen them all, virtually all of them are just as funny with each subsequent watch.
We've talked about best episodes, but what about best moments? I nominate the limo scene from "Frank's Pretty Woman". The blood capsule vomiting had me dying. "Ive been poisoned by my constituents!" [Reply]
I wouldn't even know where to begin on the Best Moments front.
Though, the episode where they get 'shhhh'd" at the Gin Bar, and they're trying to find out who shhh'd them. After gonig to a police sketch artist, they don't get to keep the artists rendering. they end up, apparently, enlisting a caricature artist - who draws the "Shhh-er" caricature style......and in a dune buggy for whatever reason. :-) [Reply]

That was a great one when Roxy dies and the gang goes, "What do we do with the dead whore in the apartment? Should we put her in the hallway?" :-):-)

Country Mac was pretty funny too
on Mac's Day ( i think that's the Country Mac episode)...they end up at a body building competition. everyone is puzzled why they're there in the first place, and Mac casually mentions "....we're here to grease up these beefcakes"
he says it in a way like "duh"...why else would we be here.
A Cricket's Tale
Cricket is in some alley way rummaging through the dumpster. Some man approaches him (which turns out to be his dad, who was looking for him). The man says something behind him, and Cricket - who is still concentrating on the dumpster - says "Yeah yeah, I'm the suckboy you are looking for" [Reply]

Not sure if you know/were already aware, or if there are others here on CP that are new to IASIP..but the fan theories about Pepe Silvia are great.
The Fan Theories out there claim that all the mail for Pepe Silvia that Charlie is freaking out about, was actually just Charlie and his illiteracy/dyslexia flipping letters around in his head from the words "Philadelphia, PA" that was likely written / addressed on all the envelopes.
and all the mail for "Carol From HR" as Charlie confusing the words "Care of HR".
I think I read somewhere that the IASIP writers said that theory wasn't the case. but I think it's a perfect theory. Charlie freaking out about all this mail for Pepe.......when it's his own illiteracy causing it. :-)
an underrated line from that Pepe scene was Mac freaking * Charlie tells him "will you just settle down, and have another cup of coffee"
