I really don't get the point of having teams play back to back, like the Stars/Flames yesterday and today, which puts the Avalanche/Yotes on a back to back today and tomorrow (or else there would only be 3 games total on a Saturday).
Maybe shuffle start times if teams don't like playing earlier in the day, but it's not like they're competing with college football or the NFL or much of anything else... and the OT backlog fixed itself.

On the plus side, I'm very interested to see how the Avs handle it in goal. You could very definitely make an argument to give Frankie the start tomorrow and give Grub the rest. [Reply]
