Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I feel like there’s no way that’s true but would be hilarious if so.
That's the story.
I don't have any ill-will towards Grbac. It's not his fault he was mediocre and honestly for the era, he was one of those pure pocket passers that wasn't bad at it. A poor man Bledsoe, if you will.
He was an average QB who played average QB here. In an era where we were still trying to win with average QBs and a dominant defense. The problem is that only the '97 team still had a great defense (it was tailing off) and he got hurt and the Broncos game happened. And he still played okay in that game - hell, we put as big a scare into the Broncos as anyone did on their way to the championship.
But Marcus was on fumes and it was a really weird gameplan of going underneath with the ball but NOT to Tony G. 7 targets the whole game? None in the first half and 4 of them came in the desperation drive at the end of the game.
I don't hold that eras failures against Grbac. Marty wears the goat horns, IMO - he just got weird in the post-season. [Reply]

No chance the Chiefs will let him do that with the Royals. Too much injury risk, especially looking at some of the injuries for baseball pitchers. [Reply]

Can't argue this. His playoff losses are really not on him. He made a few the biggest being benching Gannon but players fuck ups let him down more than anything. [Reply]

As a member of the cult, I view this merely as the rest of the world recognizing the greatness of our esteemed leader. [Reply]
Brittany Mahomes Fans Devastated By Latest Photos
By Sophie Lloyd
Pop Culture and Entertainment Reporter
Instagram users have expressed shock and dismay over Brittany Mahomes' latest post, after the 28-year-old appeared to ditch her new hairdo.
The entrepreneur and wife of Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes was accused of "breaking the internet" last week after seemingly swapping her signature blonde locks for a new auburn shade.
However, many followers were devastated to see the mom-of-two had reverted to her original color in a new photo with her husband.
The couple watched the Major League Soccer match between Inter Miami and Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, with Brittany Mahomes sharing a reel of photos taken on the pitch at Arrowhead Stadium.
"Ball is life," she captioned the post, but fans were more concerned with her hair.
"What happened to the red hair?" asked Karen Hedstrom.
"It was on point," said Dawn Grimm Burks.
"Noooooooo!!! I loved the red so much!!!," wrote Julia Brown.
"I miss the red too," said Stephanie K-W.
"[Please] bring it back," commented Marzetta Kindell.
"@brittanylynne where's your red hair? You just got it and now you're blonde again," said Logan Castleman.
"Kinda sad the red didn't stick around! You're always beautiful but that was [fire]," wrote Laura Roesch.
"I thought the spicy red was real!!" said Courtney Harford. "Loved it! Of course you're still gorgeous as always no matter what, but the change up was fun though."
However, other users were pleased to see a return of Mahomes' trademark blonde, with Jacqui Brownfield writing: "Love this look."
"Glad you are a blonde again now and forever," said Nancy.
"[It's a] softer and more natural look..." wrote Robin Giordano.
"I [heart] you all as a proud KC Couple and I love your hair girl!!" commented Angelia SaVala.
Newsweek has reached out to Brittany Mahomes for comment via Instagram.
She is well used to receiving social media comments on her appearance.
In February, the former soccer star was featured in Sports Illustrated's 60th-anniversary swimsuit issue, donning an array of red swimsuits for a photo shoot in Belize.
Although many people praised Mahomes and the beachside photos, others cruelly savaged her appearance.
In December, the Kansas City Current NWSL team co-founder was accused of "copying" pal Taylor Swift, after wearing a game-day outfit similar to the pop star, while her ESPYs look was attacked by trolls in July.
However, Mahomes doesn't let the social media bullies get her down.
"Does it bother you when people continue to talk s*** about you?" a fan asked Mahomes during an Instagram Q&A in August.
"It used to yes. But not anymore," she replied. "I could give two s**** about people's opinion of me that don't even know me."
