Thing I keep holding onto is that it was revealed AFTER Earl Thomas got hurt that the Chiefs has agreed to trade for him. Holding out hope that’s the case tonight/tomorrow here as well.

It think it’s a very fluid partnership. Reid clearly values Veach’s eye for talent and it’s his job to go out and find it. Reid tells him what’s he needs, Veach does the scouting/shopping.
