One more thing: NE may do this to a lot of teams, but JFC, we our D payroll is up there. Going forward, f.... it, give no second contract to any D player, including Chris Jones, it's simply not worth it. Pay the guys on O. [Reply]
Bob Sutton needs to be fired tonight. He didn’t dial up any blitzes on Brady even though literally everyone in the world knew that’s how you slow Brady down.
Also I’m an Eric Berry fan, or at least I was. He’s not the same Eric Berry and the defense played worse in the 3 games he played in. The Chiefs are 0-3 this season in games he’s played in. [Reply]

Had to be defensive play call, we also played two man deep zone all first half. Let that sink in, we put two Safteys 20 yard back when they were killing us with run, [Reply]

There was a third and 10 where they gave so much cushion Gronk caught the ball at the first down marker prior to the DB closing the gap. Makes no sense [Reply]
Sutton is gone, but it is 2-3 years too late. It's obvious his shit doesn't work in the playoffs, and has been obvious since the first Indy loss way back. Shutting down crappy offenses during the regular season -- who cares, Greg Robinson did that. [Reply]
By the 4th quarter, Brady and Belichick knew exactly what Sutton was going to do. You can't be that predictable against these guys. It's not that I think I know more than Sutton, or that I think he should have done X, Y, or Z. I just know enough not to put it on cruise control against the best QB & coach combo in the league. My fear is since most of the available good defensive coaches have already found new teams if Sutton is gone then Reid will promote from within and I honestly think that side of the ball needs an enema. [Reply]
