It would be 53,000 over an entire year vs. 80,000 in the last six weeks. It's a ridiculous comparison.

Man I would hate Mahi Mike a lot more if every time I saw one of his asinine posts I didn't immediately imagine a cajun spiced mahi mahi sandwich and get ravenous.

Nancy will keep kicking out the $3 trillion checks....its all good. We will never have to work or pay off loans ever again. It`s a kick ass solution if you are only going to be alive for a few more years....

Some of you who don't want to listen to the one of the most knowledgeable people we have on infectious diseases need to inject some Lysol and shove a light bulb up your butt.

Not really because some of those 80,000 would have died anyway from other things and other people that have been locked up in their homes would have died as well from accidents, other illnesses, etc..

Team sports are already close to starting or are in the process of finalizing plans to re-start in the US and throughout the world, and it is still just the middle of May... FOUR months from the start of the NFL regular season.

Unless you are in California which apparently wants to cancel everyday life for an endless eternity, everything is projecting positively for the NFL to start and play their season as scheduled.

Well, for starters, how many brick and mortar retailers do you think have a strong presence online to the point where they can survive something like this?

How many companies do you think were prepared and able to have all their employees work remote?

The only industry I can think of that's ****ed either way is hospitality.

As a nation, overall, we were caught with our pants down.

Hospitality was the only one I thought of. Manufacturing would be another. Any service that involves in person interaction, too.

Well, we're fucked fiscally either way.

Unemployment skyrockets or we spend $$$ on healthcare to help those combatting COVID-19.
