Robinson, Godwin, Golladay, Fuller etc. will all be re-signing with their current teams or getting paid by a team with a lot more money than us.
I think we can get a decent bargain somewhere, but I’m not even sure that guy would be better than Sammy. I suppose it could be somebody with more availability though.
The guy that would be at the top of my wish list is Corey Davis. Even a guy like that will probably be out of our price range though.
Realistically the best we could probably hope for is like a Breshad Perriman, who also has quite the injury history. Maybe Marvin Jones? I wouldn’t be shocked if they signed Conley at the end of the day and draft somebody in the first 3 rounds.
Sign me up for Chris Conley and a draft pick. He was very good as the #3 option when Sammy was hurt in 2018 and has chemistry with Patrick. Did I mention his contract with the Jags was only 2 years at $4.5 million? That would be excellent.
I’d love Corey Davis but I think some team with money will give him a lot. [Reply]
If the cap stands still or goes down a little, there's a chance some of these bigger name WRs sign a 1 year cheap deal and hope to get a big contract once things return to normal after the following season.
And I have hated soft players, BUT I will say he is the only soft player I have really liked because when he is 100% healthy(rare, I know) he makes all the difference being not only a baller himself but makes everyone else around him a bigger baller as well and why Reid insisted on making sure he had him back this season.
Soft players don't block. Sammy blocks. There was good discussion here about how Sammy was the best receiving blocker on the team.
He can't/won't play though injury. That's different than soft. [Reply]

Not soft, often hurt but definitely NOT soft. [Reply]
He probably got mentally scarred from playing with a broken foot and all the shit that went down because of it. Won't play hurt or injured anymore because of it. [Reply]
