Seriously hire someone from Belichick’s defensive coaching staff... an intern, whoever to be DC and bring that same approach the Patriots used tonight.
None of that surprises me. And I really don't think Sutton understood any of what you just said.
But hey, Andy, Pat and the rest of the O spotted the Pats the first half. That didn't help... [Reply]
Sutton isn't good. But let's face it, his defense is always on the field because of 3 and outs or a quick strike TD. There's a reason why defensive coaches prefer a ball control offense, it helps their defense [Reply]

The 2 times we had chances, Scandrick dropped it and Ford lined up offsides.
Well, we all saw this coming. The Charger game tought us that. For that matter, so did the 1st NE game and the Rams game. The defense always folds and cant keep a lead. The end. And tonight it ended the season. It is what it is. The defense BLOWS. The Colts game was the anomaly, not the norm.. [Reply]

It doesnt matter. The defense blows in just about every situation. [Reply]

Promoting anyone on the current staff is unacceptable. But unless Sutton retires he isn't going anywhere. Reid won't fire him.
[Pelissero] Some staggering numbers in the #Patriots win: They ran 94 plays, gained 524 yards, were 13-of-19 on 3rd down and 4-of-5 in the red zone, possessed the ball for 43 minutes, 59 seconds -- and Tom Brady wasn't sacked. #Chiefs D did have 2 takeaways, but pretty tough to win that way. Yep. Sutton should have been gone years ago, and we actually had no business taking this game to overtime. NE was clearly the better team tonight because the o line and especially the D were garbage. [Reply]

Well when you let Edleman run wide open on 5 yard outs and crossers over the middle on every 3rd down it's hard to get off the field. Bob just never adjusted. [Reply]
I have all the respect in the universe for Bill Belichick. He & Nick Saban taught me everything I know about football. Everything. BUT...for the #chiefs DB’s and defensive game plan in crucial moments to allow Julian and Gronk to do what they did, it is inexcusable. End of story.
