Hey all, you know the deal...
The other thread hit over 1,000 posts and we have server issues when that shit happens so here she be, a fancy new mega thread.
Anyway, just a quick rundown.
Post anything and everything gaming in here. Console games, handheld/mobile games or PC.
Playing something you love or maybe hate? Find a hidden gem on Steam? Let us know via a review. Try to make sure you give a good rundown on it. Graphics, sound, storyline, overall gameplay and replayability. Let's keep it at a 1-10 scale.
Thanks to all that left me awesome rep comments/posts and even pm's thanking me for the many reviews I wrote.
Just an FYI, developers do read our comments in here I guess. CD Projekt Red (of Witcher 3) was one that stopped by.
Anyway, thanks all for your input and as always, no griefing. [Reply]

Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games ever. Great story. I'd recommend looking up "essential side quests" because there are a billion different side quests, but some of them you really don't want to miss.
There's also tons of great mods for the game. If any part of the gameplay bothers you, there's likely already a fix for it. [Reply]

I want to see how the franchise mode works. I loved all the recruiting stuff in the old games and I hope they kept that as good as it was. I have no interest at all in the Ultimate team stuff or online play but I know they make money on that so I can see how it might take over. [Reply]

The big emphasis is on Dynasty and there's plenty of info in it in all the previews...sounds great. [Reply]
Coincidentally I just finished the main storyline of Ghost of Tsushima a few hours ago. Awesome game. Awesome, awesome.
Spoiler!
By the end I was really disillusioned with Shimura. Well, really as soon as he was rescued from Castle Kaneda. He had the nerve to question Jin’s methods. “You’re working with a former thief?!?” “You haven’t been fighting honorably!?!” Like, dude, FUCK. YOU.
These Mongol dogs have invaded your homeland and they do not fight fair. We saw that from the opening cinematic where they lit Samurai Adachi on fire instead of dueling him.
I can understand why the Shogun would be worried. As far as he’s aware, Jin has been building an entire army on Tsushima to come challenge his power.. and to that end, I suppose I understand why Shimura had to do what he had to do. BUT, he was a cunt from the very beginning about anything that didn’t strictly adhere to the samurai code.
That final duel under the red-leafed tree in the Sakai family cemetery was gorgeous.
He’s lucky I’m a good dude. I spared him. What did y’all decide?
am I becoming that old man that "likes what he likes"
I haven't been able to really sink my teeth into any recent game. I've tried on some occasions but just didn't really want to finish them or played a little and lost interest.
For example, the 3 games that I go back and forth with and pretty much the only games I play these days are Path of Exile, Smite and Ark Survival with some madden every other year.
I tried helldivers, thought it was cool but got to like level 20 and never played it again. Last year I played some Boulders Gate and thought that was cool but wasn't really that into it. Tried to get into diablo 4 and hated it.
Now the only games I really look forward to is Smite 2 and Path of Exile 2 lol. [Reply]
