Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Yeah AB is a head case but they got him for peanuts. He’s still one of the most talented receivers in the league and far better a talent than this draft provides.

It also doesn’t matter if they spend on LeVeon Bell right now. They started with about $59 million and added much more trading Osemele’s incredibly bloated contract away. They just have money to spend regardless.

If anything they actually get the picture while Denver has a pop gun offense.
Yeah, they'll probably pass Denver.

Oakland's bad but with a plan forward. They at least committed to a rebuild and seem hell-bent on it. Denver, OTOH, doesn't appear to have a plan apart from "Man, we really hope Bradley Chubb is awesome"

Denver could easily fall below Oakland next year but neither team seems likely to be relevant.

UPDATE: The Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs are pursuing free-agent S Tyrann Mathieu, per Aaron Wilson.
Mathieu, 26, started all 16 regular season games for the Texans and recorded 89 total tackles, two interceptions, eight pass defenses, three sacks, and a fumble recovery.

With all due respect dude--Oakland does only have one good season since 2002. So no, they don't make many good moves. At all.

May that change? Sure, but I don't think it has yet.

I agree.

Morse is set to make as much as Hudson. Hudson is twice the player.

We have a Franchise QB now and a weak O line.

Rumors are already floating that Gruden loves Kyler Murray and would trade Carr.

The Raiders actually understand what this new league is about and what they need to do to have any chance of competing with us.

Meanwhile Horse face is pining his hopes on a bad retread and has a shit offense that has no way of keeping up :-)

Dov Kleivman says Raiders aren't expected to sign Bell because they don't have enough real cash for 2019 to afford him.

Apparently we’re in on every big defensive name, love it. Go big or go home.
