Who are the people in the copter? Also I thought Rick was supposed to be the good guy and not crazy like Morgan. Morgan can jet already his character was exciting when he returned but now he's annoying. S1 Morgan ftw. [Reply]

I'd guess that, on top of most people not knowing how to fly one, it seems they would use an excessive amount of fuel that is better used for other reasons. [Reply]

My best guess is the Common Wealth. There are two communities not yet shown in the series, they come later on.
The Whisperers - Crazy community and massive, like bigger than all the communities thus far in the show together.
The Common Wealth - This is The Walking Deads biggest community. It is 50,000 people strong.
If its the 2nd one, would there be a connection with the people who wanted to "trade knowledge"? The helicopter and those people showing up at the same time probably isn't a coincidence. [Reply]

I agree 100% with this connection. Makes me think they are going to skip the post Negan baddies you list in the spoiler. [Reply]

If they skip straight to the second group, then the show will be almost caught up to the comics. So they'll have to figure out what to do next without any input from the comics.
Unless they just end it after this. Which might not be such a bad thing. [Reply]
This show is pissing me off! They tricked me into believing that Tara was going to die. Why is this character sticking around so long? Pointless. [Reply]

If what you say is right, and they skip to the second group he mentions after the Saviors are dealt with... it pretty much has to end, right?
Where else would there be to go with the series?
Pit the two big groups he mentions against each other? [Reply]

Yeah I'm guessing it's Laura, the blonde chick who knows Dwight is a traitor to the Saviors. That way it will create some drama when Dwight sees her and wonders if she'll say anything. It could very well be Gregory or someone else though. [Reply]
