I’m still enamored KC Spencer Torkelson of AZ State but don’t expect him to last to 4. He and Hancock will go 1-2 unless one of them just collapses (which is possible - Singer was a consensus #1 going into his junior year and fell to KC).
Pete Crow-Armstrong seems like a good fit for KC at 4. Super athletic CF with good speed who has contact skills and power potential.
Another high schooler with our minor league (lack of) development system? Hard pass [Reply]
The mock draft is outdated, but the prospect lists are new.
Looks like PCA’s standing fell a bit over the summer.
Still a very deep and very good draft. Based on that, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go with a college player - pitcher or hitter. They’ll be in good shape. Good year to be in comp round A, too. [Reply]

If they can lure Cole back to Southern California, the Angels could make a move. Adell will give their lineup a nice boost, and Ohtani will be back on the mound [Reply]
It's amazing to me that we had the AL leader in Home Runs, Triples and total hits on our team, and STILL had 100 losses. How can that happen??? [Reply]

It's tough to do. But Glenn Sparkman, Jorge Lopez and Homer Bailey accounting for over 60 starts helps. Throw in a team bullpen ERA over 5 and you get to your answer :-) [Reply]

Payback for having an all time great bullpen. Most of it was on the bullpen and pitching staff.
Ventura's death, Zimmer being made of glass and Almonte being a bust is the reason for the 100 losses IMO. [Reply]

It was just as much on the Dolly Parton offense (top-heavy, get it?). They finished next to last in the AL in runs scored, thanks to the 6 thru 9 spots in the order being black holes of hitting. [Reply]
