I hope he doesn't lose the confidence and progress hes made due to the lack of success hes had at the plate in the show. We need to just let him man CF and his bat will catch up. Hes an elite CF. Elite. [Reply]
Interesting comment by Dayton on the broadcast tonight about how the new manager is expected to move to Kansas City and be a part of the community. Probably just talking off the cuff, but that wouldn't be a confidence boost if you're an internal candidate. [Reply]
Could a retirement present for Ned Yost be any more perfect? The #Royals present the winningest manager in franchise history with a 2019 Polaris Ranger, driven by Salvy. #AlwaysRoyalpic.twitter.com/90RxRkXXOt

Can't stand the guy...if he's not causing the Royals trouble, he's failing to play acceptable right field and blowing a World Series championship for the Rangers. He's completely useless. [Reply]

We are in pretty good shape moving into the next few years, although I'm afraid it wont be World Series worthy unless college arms turn into the next Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux.
I fully expect Nicky Lopez to be a valuable player next year. 2.3 war, hit .270 and more walks less ks [Reply]
With a 3rd 100 loss season in a row and Patty Mahomes next door interest in this team might be at an all time low. Hopefully they can generate a little excitement this off season. [Reply]

Glad that KC sports finally have solid home run and touchdown pass records. I like 47 and 50 a lot more than 36 and 30.
It's also a feat that a Royals player is going to lead the American League in homers. Not sure I ever expected that to happen playing in that ballpark. [Reply]
The Marlins' loss means the Royals, despite 103 losses, will not pick until 4th in next year's draft.
They last picked #4 in 2010, when there was a clear top 3 of Bryce Harper, Jameson Taillon, and Manny Machado, and the Royals were forced to settle for Christian Colon.
