BUT HOW CAN THAT BE? I was called an idiot for saying that 'shut down corners' don't exist in the modern NFL and that while Gilmore is very, very good he's not really a 'SHUT DOWN CORNER' against actual proper good WR's. Even when I gave examples of how both Tyreek and Watkins have put clown shoes on him. How'd Hopkins treat him a couple of weeks ago?
I was called a ****ing moron because I said there's not that big of a difference between GOOD CB play and GREAT CB play under the current rules. Certainly not financially, and certainly not worth giving up massive draft capital for.
But because they've feasted on the AFC Least and NFC Least this season, they're so awesome as to be considered an ALL TIME GREAT DEFENSE. and Gilmore is a SHUT DOWN CORNER (who gets smoked by every true #1.)
