Okay why in the hell do you play him in those last few spring training games if his shoulder is hurting? Just rest him and don’t let this linger all year. Hernandez was saying on the broadcast l watched today that his swing didn’t look crisp. Wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t nursing some tweak or injury. And of course......
Marcell Ozuna has been receiving treatment on his shoulder, and he said it's much improved from the start of spring training. Not quite full-strength, but "much better, all good, getting there." Tommy Pham says if Ozuna's "arm is healthy I don't do that." #stlcards#MLB

So far in 2 games this season, he's let the pitcher hit in the top half of an inning, only to pinch hit for him in the bottom half.
All of the moves made in the offseason really won't matter, this team will go nowhere under the "leadership" of Mike Matheny, Michigan Man. [Reply]

I'd root for a total tank but I still dont think Dewitt would fire him.:-)
I'm planning for 2019 when our young pitching and Reyes will be ready to go as front line starters. Holland was a stop gap till Hicks gets another year under his belt. He could be MLB's next top closer. [Reply]

1-If Hicks is relegated to the bullpen, then the front office has failed.
2-All of the young talent will continue to waste under Mike Matheny, Michigan Man. [Reply]
Dejong with 2 homers, Ozuna and Pham with 3 hits each. Bowman, Hicks and Leone looked fantastic in relief. Matheny didn’t make any bonehead managerial moves today.

Where’s all the grumpy old men?
I didn't watch. Glad we won. Also glad the freezing rain is out of the forecast for the weekend! [Reply]
