Braun 29.3 min FG% 44.3. 3FG% 44.5. FT 15/20. 3FG attempts 36
Almost identical assist, turnover, steal and block rates. Braun just a little higher rebounding. Och a small bit higher APG
Every time I watch Ochai (don't the players call him Baji?) play, I think he could be an absolute super star. I think he is more physically gifted than even he can believe, but he is just missing one small thing.
He is too timid. I am NOT comparing him to Jordan, but, if he had the same mentality, or anything close to the same mentality, or even the Mamba Mentality, he could be the best player in college basketball.
Unfortunately, he still plays like he isn't sure he deserves to be playing for the Jayhawks.

The guy can't dribble, so that's kind of an issue. He has the shot and the size/athleticism to play in the NBA for a long time as a 3+D guy though. [Reply]

I was just going to say that. We've had a long line of wings who can't dribble. Brandon Rush couldn't dribble, either. He was still a hell of a college player but for an NBA super star he just has no chance. Not enough skills. [Reply]

Ochai could be Danny Green at best (unless he suddenly learns how to create his own offense off the dribble out of nowhere), I'd say. Rush couldn't guard well enough but even he had like a 7-8 year career. [Reply]
Just occurred to me that last years team could’ve been even better with a healthy Jalen Wilson. He probably would’ve really hit his stride around Big 12 play. [Reply]
