Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

If you only speak on the positive and it doesn't work out, then you can just chalk it up to a player/situation not living up to its potential.
If you talk a bunch of shit and the player ends up a stud, now you just look like a jackass-know-nothing.
See all the pre-draft Mahomes haters for example.
Yeah, and it's probably more polite, too. It's easier to be polite.
Also, if you're a media person or a media wannabe, you want the players to like you and maybe join you for an interview some day. You probably don't want to request an interview and then have the player call up your past criticism of their field awareness or hip bend. [Reply]

I thought it was well known he was doing PCP throwing babies and puppies out the window while improper signaling at speeds exceeding 110 miles an hour while doing it. Causing injury to puppy paws and infants thumbs [Reply]

A lot of them are late round compensatory picks. And they'll have to trade away premium picks this year or premium picks next year in order to move into the top 10.
For a team that notoriously wipes its ass with draft picks.

Like i said, Fuck Dem Picks! /Rams
But again, they have 11 this year and 10 next year so far. They aren't adding 21 rookies in the draft over the next two years. Their draft pick hell is over.
My question is... who are they going after?
EDIT: I figure you use those later round picks to move back up in the middle rounds and mitigate the losses of going up. [Reply]

Sounds like there is real noise behind the scenes on the @Chiefs and Amarius Mims.. They know they would have to move up to get him and they have been doing a lot of calls on him… 👀. @DawgsHQ#NFLDraft
